Okazaki Starts – Strongest 4-4-2 Leicester City Line-up To Face West Bromwich Albion

Predicted Leicester City Lineup To Face West Bromwich Albion

The Champions of England, Leicester City, have turned a corner after getting rid of Claudio Ranieri and are all but safe in the top flight. However, they have picked up just a point from their last three games and must avoid finishing this season on a low. They lost to Arsenal in the mid-week, only through an own goal and have a tricky trip to the Hawthorns waiting for them this weekend.

The Baggies last played a couple of weeks ago and lost to Liverpool and they will hope to put in a strong performance and take all three points to consolidate their place in the top half of the points table.

Team News

Skipper Wes Morgan missed the game against Arsenal and will be tested before being pushed into this game. Striker Islam Slimani also missed the previous game but might be back in action this weekend.

Probable Leicester XI:

Formation: 4-4-2

Manager: Craig Shakespeare

GK – Kasper Schmeichel

The former Manchester United man has been in good form and will hope to put in a strong performance this weekend.

RB – Danny Simpson

The experienced full-back has been solid at the back for Leicester and he will have to put in a good shift in this tie.

CB – Yohan Benalouane

With Wes Morgan still not full fit, Benalouane should keep his place at the back for the Foxes for this game.

CB – Robert Huth

Was unlucky to concede a late goal against Arsenal but will hope to bounce back with a strong performance against the Baggies this weekend.

LB – Christian Fuchs

The ever-reliable Fuchs will have his work cut out at both ends of the field against an in-form West Brom side in this clash.

RM – Riyad Mahrez

The Algerian winger has not been able to replicate his form from the previous season but his team needs him to step up his game for the remainder of this season.

CM – Danny Drinkwater

The English midfielder was superb against Arsenal and will be responsible for running the midfield for his side in this tie.

CM – Wilfried Ndidi

N’Golo Kante’s replacement, Ndidi is slowly finding his feet in the team for Leicester and will have his work cut out against an exciting West Brom midfield.

LM – Marc Albrighton

Though not as consistent as he was in the previous season, Albrighton has been effective for the Foxes this campaign and will be responsible for providing width on the left flank for his side’s attack.

ST – Jamie Vardy

The English striker did not have a great time at Arsenal but he is the biggest goal scoring threat from Leicester and West Brom need to keep him away to take anything from this game.

CF – Shinji Okazaki

The versatile attacker will hope to use his pace against an experienced Baggies defence this weekend.

This is how they would line up:
