Arsenal Injury Updates
England international Jack Wilshere will come to know in the upcoming weeks whether he will need surgery on his fractured leg or not, as per reports by the Mirror. The midfield superstar has not played a single game this season yet though the paper has claimed that Arsene Wenger was hopeful he would return to action soon.
However, it has not happened as the French manager had predicted and could take longer to heal than actually expected. The 23-year-old superstar will be given a couple of weeks to see if there is any progress in his case or the only option then would be surgery.
Wilshere will visit a specialist soon if the problem persists and eventually might have to get a metal plate inserted into his leg to rectify the issue. Once it is done, the youngster will be out for another six weeks approximately, which would be a huge blow for the Gunners.
The Arsenal star could effectively be out until Christmas and might miss the first half of the season due to this, which might worry Wenger, who did not buy any outfield players this summer.
