Leicester City will take a trip to London this Saturday, as they go head to head against Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United at the London Olympic Stadium in the Matchweek 29 of the Premier League.
The Foxes are mounting a late resurgence under new boss Craig Shakespeare and have won their previous two fixtures in the league against Liverpool and Hull City, both by the margin of 3-1. And the 2-1 midweek triumph against Sevilla in the Champions League will have given them a huge confidence boost as they attempt to pull further away from the relegation zone.
There are not many injury concerns for Shakespeare as Molla Wague remains the only long-term absentee with a dislocated shoulder while Nampalys Mendy is a slight doubt due to a knee injury.
Predicted Leicester City Line-Up
Kasper Schmeichel (GK)
The Danish international put in a colossal display against Sevilla on Wednesday. He is an important presence on the pitch for Leicester and will start on Saturday.
Danny Simpson (RB)
On the right-side of the defence it will be Danny Simpson. He is a mainstay in the back for the Foxes and will keep his place in the starting XI.
Wes Morgan (CB)
The captain has had an indifferent season so far, but confidence will be high after scoring an important goal against Sevilla on Tuesday night.
Robert Huth (CB)
Alongside Morgan will be his usual defensive partner Robert Huth. The former Chelsea and Stoke City man is a crucial figure and his physicality will be key against the likes of Andy Carroll.
Christian Fuchs (LB)
And completing the back-line will be Austrian left-back Christian Fuchs. He will have his hands full dealing with the threat of Michail Antonio.
Riyad Mahrez (RM)
The Algerian international has been gaining form in recent weeks and is starting to influence proceedings. Will start on the right-flank.
Wilfred Ndidi (CM)
The 20-year old has become a key member of the Leicester team in recent weeks. Has shielded his defence admirably and should keep his place in the middle of the park.
Danny Drinkwater (CM)
Alongside Ndidi, it will be the ever-present Danny Drinkwater. He will look to sit in and pull the strings in the midfield for Leicester.
Marc Albrighton (LM)
And on the left-flank we expect to see Marc Albrighton continue in the playing XI. The 27-year old got himself on the score-sheet in Europe in the midweek and will look to build on the performance.
Jamie Vardy (ST)
Leading the line will be star man Jamie Vardy. It has been a season full of struggles for the Englishman, but he looks to have found his confidence back in recent weeks.
Shinji Okazaki (ST)
And alongside Vardy, we will continue to see the industrious Shinji Okazaki. The Japanese international is picked ahead of the likes of Leonardo Ulloa and Islam Slimani, due to his hard work and efforts and we don’t expect that to change.
