Manchester United are having a pretty decent start to the season. Ander Herrera was one of the initial signings of the previous summer for Louis Van Gaal and United had shell out a fee of 36 million euros for the Bilbao prodigy. The Spaniard was initially made to play as a defensive midfielder and did a fine job. According to Squawka, Herrera had a better attacking as well as defending score than Nemanja Matic. Also, another major trait that Herrera possesses is his tackling ability.
Herrera has shown maturity and growth in his overall style of play. The midfielder perfectly fits the Premier League style of play and can virtually form a good pairing with Schweinsteiger, Schinederlin, Carrick or even Fellaini. His versatility and knack of learning has made him a better player under Louis Van Gaal and if he carries on this well he might go on to become an Old Trafford legend.
