Newcastle United And One More – 2 Clubs Who Should Gamble On Jack Wilshere This Summer

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is one of the best nurturers of raw talent and he is a man with great patience, known to stick with his players through thick and thin. However, when he decides that a youngster has not future in his squad, it is a testament that the player might not be able to fulfil his potential and one such player who is now unwanted at the Emirates is English midfielder Jack Wilshere, who was once tipped to be the future of both Arsenal and England.

According to reports today (Source: Starsport /Daily Mail), the Arsenal youth product is yet to receive any information about a new deal, after his loan stint with Bournemouth ended and could be sold any time this summer. Be it his injury history or his lack of consistency, Wilshere is no more in the plans of the French manager but he has enough potential to find a club ready to gamble on him. Here are two such destinations that are perfect for the 25-year old:

Huddersfield:

Having already been linked with a move to the newly promoted side, Wilshere might not want to play for a low profile club but that could his best option at the moment. With players around him still learning the challenges of the top flight, Wilshere could act as a leader at the club and could see the whole squad play around him. David Wagner is a smart manager who will surely get the best out of the midfielder and if Wilshere decides to join Huddersfield, he might be able to establish himself at the highest level again in no time. The pressure on him will be less and that could help him finally realise his potential.

Newcastle United:

Rafa Benitez is surely looking to add all the quality he can find to his squad at the St Marys this summer and might be interested in Wilshere. Mohamed Diame and Jonjo Shelvy have done a decent job in the midfield for the Magpies in the Championship and Wilshere might be the perfect man to add to this lineup for the manager. He may not be able to walk into the first team straight away but if he gets his game going, he can easily settle well at Newcastle and it might be the best way for him to find some form. Playing at a more high profile club will yet again put him under pressure of performing and delivering for his side, which Rafa can handle well, helping Wilshere back to his best.
