Murty To Make 1 Big Change – Predicted 4-2-3-1 Rangers Line-up To Face Kilmarnock

Predicted Rangers Line-up To Face Kilmarnock In The Scottish Premiership

Rangers will look to get back to winning ways when they gear up to clash against Kilmarnock at the Rugby Park on Saturday.

The Gers’ four-game winning streak was brought to an end by the 3-1 loss at the hands of St. Johnstone this past weekend and caretaker manager Graeme Murty will be hoping that his side manages to bounce back from the defeat with a strong display against the Killies.

The Glasgow-based outfit are currently 3rd in the Scottish Premiership table, and with second-placed Aberdeen set to face leaders Celtic, there is a good chance for them to cut down the lead at the top if they get all three points on Saturday.

Team News

Veteran forward Kenny Miller will miss out for the Light Blues owing to an injury he picked up against Hibernian a couple of weeks back. Midfielder Ryan Jack will serve the last of his three-match ban, while Graham Dorrans has been ruled out of action for close to three months due to an injury.

And here’s how Murty could set out his side to take on the Killies:

Manager: Graeme Murty

Formation: 4-1-4-1

Wes Foderingham (GK)

The 26-year-old Englishman will look to add to his tally of four clean sheets in his 20th Premiership appearance of the season.

James Tavernier (RB)

With 3 goals and 5 assists to his name in the Premiership this season, the 26-year old has been quite impressive for the Gers. Will retain his spot at right-back.

Bruno Alves (CB)

The veteran Portuguese defender should once again start in the heart of the defence for Murty’s side against Kilmarnock.

Bruno Alves

Danny Wilson (CB)

The five-time capped Scottish international should make his 13th appearance of the season across all competitions.

Declan John (LB)

The loanee from Cardiff City has had a decent spell so far with the Ibrox based outfit. Should start at left-back on Saturday.

Ross McCrorie (DM)

The youngster has come a long way since making his debut earlier this season. A mainstay in the side, McCrorie will start as the holding midfielder.

Daniel Candeias (RW)

The Portuguese wide man hasn’t been the most consistent performers for the Gers this season but will be keen on adding to his tally of 2 Premiership goals.

Jason Holt (CM)

The 24-year old brings the energy and work-rate to the Gers midfield. Will be key to their chances of beating the Killies.

Josh Windass

Jamie Barjonas (CM)

With Ryan Jack set to miss out, the 18-year old Jamie Barjonas could be set for his 3rd Premiership start of the season.

Josh Windass (LW)

The 23-year old has netted 6 times so far this season and has assisted 4 goals as well. Will have an important role to play on Saturday.

Alfredo Morelos (ST)

After a dry patch, the Colombian U-20 international has found the back of the net in the last three games for the Gers and will be keen on making it four in a row.
