Mourinho’s Sacking Might Help Arsenal To Land Their £11.9m Transfer Target

It was thought last year that Marcelo Brozovic will be coming to Arsenal but a deal did not go through. Now it looks like Arsene Wenger could finally be getting his man.

Last season’s January transfer window saw Arsenal’s £5m bid rejected. Dinamo Zagreb eventually sent the player to Inter Milan on a loan deal for 18 months. Inter also has a buy out clause with the option to buy the player for around £8m.

According to Calciomercato, Inter may allow the player to move to London for around £11.9m. Arsenal manager is impressed in the way the player has settled in Italy. However, we have not heard from the player about his intention of moving to England. He had also mentioned earlier that he turned down an offer to move to England in order to play in Italy.

One concern he may have is that Arsenal already have a star studded midfield and breaking into the first team may be a bigger challenge than he is currently faced with. But should he decide to move to Premier League, Arsenal is the likeliest destination.

However, latest reports from Mirror say that Arsenal are all set to win the battle for the midfielder after having successfully warded off Chelsea’s interest following the sacking of Mourinho.
