Jose Mourinho being the chosen one to replace Louis Van Gaal at the Old Trafford next season has been on the news since last few months, although the news confirming the same has not been officially announced. While Mourinho has been on the news for a long time now here is what we did not anticipate or expect in the whole issue (as we would like to term).
According to the Sunday Mirror, Manchester United have arranged for a compensation clause for Mourinho if Louis Van Gaal stays as the United manager next season. It is obvious that Mourinho has not taken up the managerial position at any other club and neither have United confirmed the Portuguese manager’s move to the Old Trafford. In some ways the inclusion of the clause makes more sense than the ‘not happening’ of anything concrete regarding United’s managerial position.
While the speculation regarding Mourinho continues LVG is looking to bolster United’s attacking options preparing for a £135m double deal for Gonzalo Higuain and Antoine Griezmann.
