Manchester United signed Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer to boost their midfield, however, despite bringing in two new players in the squad reports have emerged that the United boss Jose Mourinho is still on the lookout to sign an additional midfielder to the squad.

According to recent reports United boss has set his sights on Leicester City player Danny Drinkwater and takes the English International to be an ideal candidate to bring a balance to the midfield.

Bringing in Drinkwater will help Pogba in the midfield as the Frenchman will get more freedom to roam in the middle of the park.

Drinkwater recently signed a new five-year contract at Leicester City, which sees him earn £90,000 a week, thus Mourinho will have to fork out an amount close to £30m, so as to sign the player. Further reports suggest that United are willing to offer a contract which will see the player earn £150,000 per week.
