Monday Transfer News: Liverpool Set To Swoop Premier League Midfielder For £14m

Liverpool are looking out for Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater for a potential transfer move to the Anfield.

According to reports Jurgen Klopp has been impressed by the former Manchester United academy player and has made him into his No-1 transfer target this summer.

Although the Reds failed to qualify for the Champions league next season after their Europa League final defeat, the German manager has not changed his summer targets and Drinkwater is one of the players, Klopp wants to bring to the Anfield in the summer.

Reports claim that Klopp’s analyst team are putting up a report for the player and depending upon the same the manager is keen on the move.

However Liverpool may have a tough time trying to convince Leicester City and Claudio Ranieri, to let the player, who are hoping that the lure of Champions League football may make Drinkwater stay at the club. The player is rated at £14m and is set to play for England after having been added to the English National teams’ provisional squad.
