Italian club Lazio has refused Manchester United’s two offers worth €28million in June and €50 million in August for the Brazilian footballer Felipe Anderson, according to Italian sports newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport.
According to the newspaper, the Serie A club is looking to sell a big money player and invest the same in other players and will only be accepting a very high price for the Brazilian as the Serie A clubs are not laden with funds unlike their counterparts in Premier League.
United has been after the player for a long time, however rumor has it that the club would prefer James Rodriguez over Anderson if they are able to catch hold of Rodriguez,
Although Lazio has maintained caution with regards to selling their players as offers come by, it is tough to believe that the club refused second of the 2 monster offers from United of €50 million for the Brazilian.
