Mathieu Flamini Hints Arsenal Return?

Former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has hinted that he would want a return to England and win the premier league.

The 29-year-old midfield enforcer moved to Milan from Arsenal in 2008. He did a decent job at Milan but failed to live up to the expectation of high standard that he set as an Arsenal player.

Despite Milan still willing to offer him a contract, the Flamini has stated that he wants to leave and return to the English league.

Flamini told The Sun,

“Milan offered me a contract for two years but I need to take my time and make the right decision.”

“I’ve been in Italy for five years, I’ve had a great time and learnt a lot.”

“But I miss England and I want to win the Premier League. It has a special place in my heart. I like the pace and the physicality of English football and I like that every game is very open”

But the question is which top club from premier league would want him? Probable answer is Arsenal who are without a proper defensive midfielder. But even in Arsenal, Flamini will just be a backup player. Make a wise decision this time Mathieu!
