Radamel Falcao has been all over the news in recent times, after failing to impress in his debut season with Premier League giants Manchester United. The superstar striker was on a season-long loan at Old Trafford from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco and was wanted by champions of England Chelsea. With weeks of speculations surrounding the Colombia’s future, it was claimed by Gol Caracol on Monday evening that Falcao is set to join the Blues on July 19th in Canada.
The report confirmed that the deal is done and the 29-year-old superstar now knows exactly when he will be joining the Blues.
Jose Mourinho still believes in the former Porto and Atletico Madrid man’s abilities and was trying to bring him to Stamford Bridge, as soon as possible.
Further, according to Gol Caracol’s director Javier Hernandez Bonett a contract was signed yesterday in Colombia after the national side were knocked out from the Copa America tournament. He said, “In the afternoon, a few hours ago, the signature was stamped on the contract by the striker Falcao Garcia with Chelsea.”
