Columbian striker Jackson Martinez is rumored to be one of the Chelsea targets and his agent Henrique Pompeo has confirmed Chelsea’s interest on the 29-year-old Columbian striker. Pompeo further claims Tottenham’s interest on the player.
Often nicknamed as “cha cha cha” because of his dance-like moves on the pitch, many describe the Columbian as an out an out goal scorer, he can was the top scorer in all his seasons in Premiera Liga at FC Porto.
Martinez joined Atletico in the summer from Porto for a £29 million deal. The player is linked with a swap deal with Chelsea involving Diego Costa, who has been rumored to go back to Atletico. Although, the Columbian is hoping to stay at Atletico Madrid, the club may have different plans for the player. With just 2 goals in 11 La Liga matches, Martinez may be sent on a loan so as to get back his form.
