After confirming the signing of Barcelona’s Spanish winger Pedro Rodriguez, Defending Premier League Champions Chelsea had an incredible offer worth €55million for AS Monaco’s rising star striker Anthony Martial.
The French youngster is one of the most talented youngsters around in Europe and the Blues are no mood in wasting time and get the deal done by the end of transfer window.
However, in a sudden twist of events, AS Monaco, who are desperately attempting to curb their spending after several seasons of heavy investment, rejected the offer from Jose Mourinho’s men. The youngster was a product of Valencia’s youth academy and joined Monaco where got the chances to show his potential after Colombian striker moved to Premier League Giants Manchester United and scored 12 goals.
