Massive £51m Chelsea Offer Rejected: Improved Offer Expected Soon

Chelsea have made a massive £51 million bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata but the Spanish club have rejected the offer according to reports from Express Sport and Marca.

When Madrd bought back Morata from Juventus everyone assumed that the club wanted to do business and make some profit out of the Spain striker but a massive £51 million offer has not moved the Spanish giants. This brings to question, is the player actually for sale? Marca thinks so. The Spanish media said that Real values the player at a whooping £64 million and thus has rejected the offer from Chelsea.

However is Morata worth that amount of money? That is yet to be seen. The only other team that is willing to buy Morata off Madrid’s hand is Arsenal and they most likely will not even reach £51 million in their bid. Madrid already has Karim Benzema and it will be curious to see if they do not manage to sell Morata, how will the Spanish club handle the striker situation?
