Wojciech Szczesny – Decent game from the man in gloves. Had some good saves and also had fair amount of mix ups too. 6.5/10

Bacary Sagna – Steady game from one of the most consistent right backs in the league. 7/10

Per Mertesacker – Still coming back into the team after the illness. One of his error could have cost Arsenal a goal. Average game. 6/10

Laurent Koscielny – Clumsy with ball at times, but still produced a good defensive display. 7/10

Kieran Gibbs – His clearance saved Arsenal from going behind. Great cross to assist Walcott and almost scored a goal in the other end. 8/10

Mathieu Flamini – Provided the much needed steal to destroy Marseille’s midfield momentum. Good game but not as good as Sunderland one. 7/10

Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal’s player of the season so far easily. Dribbled past few Marseille bodies to score a well taken deflected goal. 8/10

Theo Walcott – Scored a superb volley to put Arsenal ahead. Arsenal fans will hope this will trigger him to reproduce his lost form. 7/10

Jack WilshereFull of energy with his trademark dribbles and passes. Controlled the midfield well. 7/10

Mesut Ozil Decent game for Arsenal’s record signing but did nothing spectacular. 6.5/10

Olivier Giroud – Failed to continue his red hot goal scoring form. May be the injury of his played a part. 6.5/10
