Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini was involved in a training ground bust-up with Italian forward Mario Balotelli on Thursday.
What Happened : Mancini lost his temper with his Italian compatriot after Balotelli made a reckless challenge on teammate Scott Sinclair at the club’s Carrington training base on the edge of Manchester.
In one of the photos Mancini is seen to be pulling at Balotelli’s orange bib, and in another photo Balotelli is being restrained.
Reporters were present at the scene and one of them said : “Mancini ran at him – he was furious. He grabbed hold of him and appeared to try and throw him on the floor. It looked like Mario was too strong and he couldn’t get him down. Then all the coaches ran in to separate them but Mancini was having none of it. He kept trying to break free and have a go at him again.”
This is definitely not good news to Balotelli. With the transfer window open, one could see him leave the club. Mancini is already blessed with 3 world class strikers : Aguero,Tevez and Dzeko and he has been rotating only these 3 players in the last few months and Balotelli was hardly given a chance even as a substitute.
But the question is which team would want to buy a player with such an attitude. His football skills are undoubtedly top class but his highly volatile behavior could break his career.
