Manchester United’s January Transfer Rumours Start To Hit Groud With Spanish Goalkeeper

Spanish website Sport has claimed that the out of favor goalkeeper Victor Valdes was subject of interest from Tiburones Rojo de Veracruz. On further digging and investigating it was found out that the story started three days ago when the Fox Deportes reporter Fernando Schwartz mentioned that few Mexican clubs were interested in bringing the Spanish goalkeeper to Liga MX.

Curious enough though that these clubs’ names were not mentioned by the Fox representatives. So either Sport is making up stories about the Tiburones Rojo de Veracruz or they have actually got more information than the Fox Deportes.

The goalkeeper has not played for Manchester United since the end of last season and is understood to be wanting to play regular football. However, if he will be interested to move to Mexico at this juncture in his career is a different question altogether. If Sport’s claims do turn out to be true, then Tiburones Rojo de Veracruz is in advanced talk with Victor Valdes and the transfer could become a reality.
