Last season (2014/15) Messi was phenomenal in Barcelona’s treble winning season scoring 58 goals and with 28 assists in just 57 games in all competitions which made him to clinch UEFA player of the year award for the second time, Whereas Ronaldo who won the Ballon D’ Or for the third time in the history earlier this year by beating Barcelona’s Messi and Bayern’s Neuer.
