Olympic gold medalist and Brazil international Gabriel Barbosa has been linked with a move to Old Trafford from last three weeks. There were reports that the club has made a massive bid to sign the Santos’ youngster but the player has now spoken that he will make a decision soon.
Manchester United have already purchased Zlatan Ibrahimovic and judging by his first two games, he is going to be a massive figure to replace. But at 34 he does not have a lot many years left in him as a player and Barbosa may provide a more long-term solution.
Manchester City and other European giants have also been linked with a move for the player but a decision is still pending from the player’s side. The 19-year old often called Gabigol and has been compared to compatriot Neymar on several occasion. An obvious talent, his decision can be expected around next week.
Speaking to the reporters he said, “Now I will celebrate with my family, then I will return to Santos and think about what I should do.”
