Manchester United V Chelsea – Confirmed Line-ups

The Potential English Premier League title race begins in a few minutes. As Manchester City lost to Cardiff last night, the winners of this game will have an early advantage going into the season. The Blues who are on top of the table having picked up 6 points from the two games they have played (an additional game due to their European Super cup encounter with Bayern), will be looking to extend their lead to have an physiological advantage over Manchester United.

Meanwhile the Old Trafford faithful for the first time in over two decades will witness someone other than Sir Alex Ferguson on the dugout as David Moyes manages his first ever Premier League game at his new home.

Here are the starting line-ups:

Manchester United: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Welbeck, Van Persie.

subs: Lindegaard, Buttner, Smalling, Giggs, Anderson, Young, Kagawa.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard, Schurrle. #CFC

subs: Schwarzer, Azpilicueta, Essien, Mikel, Mata, Lukaku, Torres
