Manchester United had a tough season this time around and although there has been no official announcements from the club, we believe that Jose Mourinho has set his eyes at United’s managerial position and will be replacing Louis Van Gaal at the start of next season.
Hence this time around due to Jose Mourinho, United are looking to add Napoli’s star striker Gonzalo HIguain into the squad next season. According to Tribal Football, Mourinho has had talks with Higuain’s agent, his brother regarding a potential transfer move for the Argentine striker and have reached an agreement on principle which includes a 5 year deal at United, where Higuain’s wages would include 10 Million Euros a season with United. Further United are reportedly preparing an 85 million pound bid for the striker.
While Higuain’s presence in Napoli has made a significant impact in the club’s performance, we can expect Napoli to try and offer a new and better deal for the player. Further United will also have to wade away competition from Arsenal and Chelsea for the player.
