Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not is playing at PSG next season. The player has one and a half months left in his contract with the French Club and as such he will not be renewing or extending his contract with the club.

“I have one and a half months left on my contract. I will enjoy while I’m still here. What will happen next year I do not know but for now I will not be here.”

Reports suggest that the player’s most viable destination this time around will be the Premier League. While Manchester United have been looking out for the player since sometime, the Swede player has also been linked with a possible move to the Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United came into the picture with regards to the player only after the Old Trafford bosses decided on bringing in Jose Mourinho as a replacement for Louis Van Gaal. Mourinho and Ibrahimovic have both worked together during their time in Inter Milan and have stated that they would like to work again with one another.

While 34 years of age and extreme wage demands may be a point where Manchester United need to stop and think whether the player will be the best of investment for the club.
