Manchester United Set To Hijack Chelsea’s £31m Swoop, But There Is Still Hope For The Blues

Miralem Pjanic

Chelsea transfer target Miralem Pjanic now has better chances of moving to Manchester United. According to recent reports Manchester United hijacked Chelsea’s plans to bring the player into their squad.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United are ready to move in to approach the player with their offer, while Pjanic remains a top priority for Antonio Conte who is to take over the reigns of Chelsea after the summer transfers.

Pjanic’s release clause is £31.1m, the potential suitors of the player will have to meet the release clause of the player however, which club the player will move into will be his own decision without any interference from his current club Roma.

While United have enough cash to spend in be it the release clause or the wages for the player, they do lack an extra effect that Antonio Conte taking up the managerial position at Chelsea gives to the deal. Conte’s presence in Chelsea may influence the player’s decision to move to Chelsea.
