Manchester United need to reinforce their squad after a weak performance this season under Louis Van Gaal. The club is looking out for signing new players and according to Portuguese news outlet Record, the Red Devils are very serious regarding signing Portuguese player Renato Sanches.
According to Record, Manchester United are very sure of their interest in the player and continue to scout the 18 year old versatile midfielder.
Sanches’ release clause include an amount as high as 80 million Euros and it has to be seen whether United are willing to say goodbye to that amount of money for a player who can play anywhere in midfield and will be a good addition to the squad.
Although United have signed many midfielders in the past years like Herrera, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger, splashing more cash on another midfielder does not make sense for the club.
