The news of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani not being happy with the French outfit has put sports media into an overdrive as they linked the player with Juventus and eventually Manchester United.
According to Tuttosport, Manchester United and Cavani are meant for each other, the star club and the star player. The club and the player are meant for each other as the club lack goals and a worthy striker and the striker lacks the time that he can get in a club like Manchester United.
Further reports claim that Manchester United are ready with a bid of €64m (£48.4m) for Cavani, which could reach the club as early as within this January.
Tuttosport further reports that Manchester United are suggested by the fans to bring in the player for the remaining half of the season.
While the paper itself seems to be in favor of Cavani moving to Juventus, it is obvious that it will be tough for the club to compete the aforementioned bid for the player. However with all rumor factory buzzing the United bid most likely may not even see the surface of Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s desk.
