Manchester United opinion: Should the Red Devils go for Donny van de Beek

According to reports from English news outlet the Metro, Manchester United target Donny van de Beek has reported that he is open to a move away. Not only that, the report added that the Ajax star has reportedly claimed that he’s more than open to a move to either Manchester United or even Tottenham.

It’s a move that Manchester United have to make, especially if the club wants to stay relevant in the Premier League. They might lose Paul Pogba and will need to bring in a replacement and that is exactly where someone like Donny van de Beek walks in.

The young midfielder would also be a great replacement for Ander Herrera. He was a big part of that wonderful Ajax squad that made it all the way to the Champions League semi-finals, Van de Beek was one of their underrated stars.

However, while that was brilliant to watch, it also means that the Eredivisie giants will have a tough time this summer. Their performances have showcased that some of their players have the skill, will and talent to play at the highest level.
