As per claims, Manchester United are now all set to make a late £26.4m offer Hakan Calhanoglu from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen. The Red Devils have been quite active in the transfer market, especially yesterday and have completed some quick deals. Further, it was being suggested that manager Louis van Gaal is still in the market to add some new signings to his current squad.
With Anthony Martial’s switch from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco on the verge of being finalized now, the Turkish media suggested that the Premier League giants are now making an effort to sign Calhanoglu.
It was also announced by Turkish football pundit Ertem Sener on the Derin Futbol show that the £26.4m offer was now going in, though whether the deal would be completed or not was still not certain. The attacking maestro is well known for his incredible free-kicks and is said to be one for the future, as the Dutch manager is keen on bringing home some titles this term.
