Manchester United Make A Staggering €35m Bid For Goalkeeper

Manchester United’s bid has put many clubs in panic mode so as to retain their valuable player. For clubs having good players is the main concern United is no different and if you don’t have one u better get one. Clubs are always on the look-out for new and talented players be it in youth academies or other clubs, this helps the clubs to get good players as well as help the young and/or talented lot to profit from the interest.

One such situation was reported by Spanish newspaper Marca, where United’s bid of €35million on Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak forced the Spanish club to revise the existing contract with the player and make a new deal with different conditions which are favorable for the Club with regards to retaining their players.

The Daily Mirror claims that United are keeping tabs on the Slovenian’s progress, though Atletico hope to tie him down to a new contract, which would raise his value to around £40million.

This, however, is not the first time that the players are benefitting from United’s bid, players like Sergio Ramos and Thomas Muller have signed new contracts with their respective clubs post United’s interest in the players. Barcelona too extended Neymar’s contract once word got out that United had approached the player.
