Yoshinori Muto is not a very recognized name around in Manchester. That does not mean that legendary United manager Sir Alex Ferguson thinks any less of the player. As per the reports from Mirror, Ferguson is very impressed with the Japan international and he rates him very highly.
Though it feels that the Old Trafford club is being run by the Dutchman Louis Van Gaal at present, it seems the ex boss still has considerable pull in the management. United could be putting across a bid of £10 for the Mainz forward.
The Japanese is only 23 years old and before joining the German club scored 26 goals in 59 appearances at FC Tokyo. This season he has scored 7 goals in 14 appearances for Mainz. United are currently struggling in front of the goal and is looking to bolster their attack. It could very well be that United heads back to Sir Alex Ferguson for advice on transfers since LVG has not been very lucky in the market.
