Manchester United Latest: News On Dundee United Wonderkid And Ezequiel Garay

Latest news and rumours from Old Trafford:

Dundee United’s 17-year old wonder kid Ryan Gauld who is dubbed as the “Mini Messi” finds himself amidst of interests from several clubs all across the Europe.

The Mirror have reported that David Moyes and Manchester United have offered as much as £3 million to price the youngster out of Dundee United in the near future. United are not the only team that is reported to be interested in the youngster with Real Madrid according to the same report from Mirror are said to be interested and Serie A giants Juventus are amongst the other parties.

Young and brave, Gauld could provide Moyes with a touch of freshness in the midfield, but whilst Shingi Kagawa has himself found it difficult to find a place in the United’s starting line-up, an immediate move might be a wrong decision for both the parties. However, Dundee values the player as £6m and United’s offer is half the price of what the Scottish outfit  expect for their youngster.

But if Moyes does buy the ‘Mini Messi’, a loan move for a season would do a great deal of good before he can fight for United’s starting berth.

In other news, Manchester United’s long term defensive target Benfica’s Ezequiel Garay has reportedly given United a major dent in his pursuit. Garay, according to reports from skysports, has claimed that he is more than happy at the club and has potentially ruled out a move to Manchester United in the summer. Skysports further quoted the player as saying:

“I have learned a lot since I came to Benfica and I am very happy at the club,”

We qualified and it will be my first World Cup if I get called up so I’m really excited,”

Ageing Rio Ferdinand and injury wrecken Nemanja Vidic have given David Moyes a real headache in selecting his first choice center back’s and this would certainly be a major concern for the Scottish manager as he will move on to pursue other targets.
