Manchester United Latest Including: City Rival Talks About Rooney’s Future And Giggs

England goalkeeper Joe Hart insists that striker Wayne Rooney is focused about England’s friendly with Scotland on Wednesday and is not worried about Manchester United at the moment. Rooney needs to settle his United career as soon as he can and make a decision. At the moment he is toying with the idea of leaving United, but David Moyes does not want to sell the player to any opposition club.

In the meantime, Hart has mentioned that Rooney is concentrating only on the international game.

“Wayne’s Wayne, he trains the same, works hard, he is always out half-an-hour before everyone because he just seems to love football. That’s him, I don’t think that will ever change. He has got stuff going on in his own life and his own football career but, at the moment, he is here with England and I am pretty sure all he is focused on is Wednesday night.”, Hart said to Sky Sports.

“Literally, you are away from your club – nothing to do with your club. You are representing England, the same as when you are with your club, you are representing your club, so I think it’s a welcome environment, it’s a safe environment in terms of players and staff and people who are involved with England.

“I can’t talk for him, I can only talk for myself, and whenever I have come here all that I have focused on is England.”

Jose Mourinho has already made his intentions clear to get the England forward, but so far his bid has been rejected. On the contrary, Rooney is in no mood to continue his future at Old Trafford and desperately wants his way out of the club. With the Premier League slated to begin this weekend, it is high time that he settles his future and make a decision. But whatever it is, time is not with Rooney’s hands.

In other news, former Manchester United youth team manager Eric Harrison believes that Ryan Giggs would do well for himself and the team after being appointed as the backroom staff of David Moyes. Giggs, will continue to be a player for the team along with the additional role as he enters his twenty fourth year as a top flight player.

“Without doubt Ryan will be a success. He is a football nut. I am glad he is doing what he is doing.”, Harrison mentioned.

Giggs will also be joined by former teammate Phil Neville as the backroom staff after Moyes decided to appoint the defender, who served under him at Everton. The Welsh man made his 21st appearance for United at Wembley and added yet another trophy to his cabinet as they beat Wigan 2-0 in Sunday’s Community Shield.
