Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United side are now keeping tabs on Dutch youngster Jerry St Juste, as per reports from the Daily Mail. The report further adds that the 18-year-old Heerenveen defender is being monitored by scouts from the Premier League giants, as it talked about the Red Devils’ Champions League rivals PSV.
The defensive superstar was superb impressing the United officials, as Heerenveen’s drew 1-1 with PSV in August, though an official bid has not been made till now and a confirmation of a potential move is still being awaited. Apart from playing at the center of the defence, St Juste can also play in a defensive midfield role if needed, which would give manager Louis van Gaal more options.
The Dutch manager has already brought two Dutch players to Old Trafford, namely Memphis Depay and Daley Blind, who are currently playing an important role in United’s first-team. Further, if given the opportunities, the 18-year-old superstar could be a superb addition to his squad as well for the future.
