Luke Shaw suffered a serious injury recently and will be out for most of the season, as per reports. Manchester United have somehow managed in the absence of the England international till now. However, it seems now that the Red Devils are keen on adding a new left back to their squad in the January transfer window.
The Daily Star has reported that Louis van Gaal’s side will make a $23.2m offer to bring West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell to Old Trafford, once the transfer window is open again. The 25-year-old left-back has had a great start to the new campaign with The Hammers, who are currently placed in the third spot in the points table.
Further, Cresswell is talented enough to replace the former Southampton star in the Dutch manager’s squad and in 6 league appearances has already set up 2 goals for West Ham. His performances have helped his side beat the big guns including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City already and if he keeps performing in a similar fashion, United might sign him soon.
