It seems that Premier League giants Manchester United are still keen on strengthening their defensive line and are interested in acquiring the services of Bruno Martins-Indi. After being monitored by the Red Devils’ scouts for over a year now, the Dutch international is one of Louis Van Gaal’s key targets at the moment it would seem.
The Premier League giants’ scouts were recently present during Porto’s 2-1 win against their league rivals Chelsea back in September and also on Sunday evening to watch them draw 0-0 at home against Braga.
O Jogo was keeping a record of the clubs interested int he 23-year-old superstar’s services and reported that representatives from Marseille, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Dutchman’s side were all in Portugal at the weekend.
However, the defender had a rather quiet game dealing with the threat of Stojiljkovic comfortably, earning himself a respectable 6/10 rating by the paper. It will be quite interesting to see now which club eventually ends up winning this race for his signature, as the defensive superstar is clearly a wanted man.
