Manchester United get a Boost in bringing Former Superstar Back to Old Trafford

Though Manchester United have had a much better start to the season than many of their Premier League rivals, manager Louis van Gaal has already turned his attention to the January transfer window as he looks to strengthen his squad. The Red Devils are at present at 3rd spot in the points table, after a comfortable 3-1 win over fierce rivals Liverpool, though poor results against Swansea and Newcastle let them down.

Further, the recent loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on their return to the competition would have caused some concern. Due to that, the Dutch boss would have identified several targets which might strengthen his squad and now might look to bring back former superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who could leave Real Madrid soon.

The 30-year-old forward has scored eight times in the last couple of games and could leave the Bernabeu at the end of the current term. Apart from United, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and a number of MLS clubs are keen on signing him and an intense race can be expected soon.
