Manchester United Confident About the Future of Chelsea Target

Cristiano Ronaldo

Premier League giants Manchester United are confident that their former star and Real Madrid’s all-time leading goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo will not join their rivals Chelsea after the end of this season. There were rumours that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is looking to bring Ronaldo back to the Premier League, but to his struggling side.

Reports in Spain claimed the billionaire Russian is ready to revamp his playing staff by selling several flopping stars and reinvesting in the Real Madrid stalwart. It also stated that Ronaldo’s arrival to Chelsea will involve swapping of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Ronaldo has been tipped to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the current campaign with PSG favourites to sign him, but Chelsea appear ready to launch an audacious offer to bring him to Stamford Bridge. But the Red Devils are confident that he won’t be joining them and are eager to get back the star they sold to the Spannish giants in 2009.
