Manchester United Boss Louis van Gaal Pushing for a Move to Sign Italian Midfielder

According to reports from Italy’s Calciomercato on Monday evening, both Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League giants Manchester United are keen on signing Jorginho from Serie A outfit Napoli. The 23-year-old midfield superstar is being monitored by a number of clubs this term and Calciomercato stated that the Red Devils are looking to finalize a move for his services.

At the time when Louis van Gaal’s side are working on a deal for Matteo Darmian, a move for the highly talented Jorginho was also being considered. The Italian connections that the Dutch manager had while monitoring Darmian’s progress helped him get information on the Napoli star and his growing talent, which might be useful for his side in the future.

The Naples-based side have so far resisted advances for their priced possession and have no plans to sell at the moment, though both clubs look really desperate for a deal and might once again make a bid for him in January.
