Manchester United are looking out for Turkish player Omer Toprak for a move to Old Trafford in the summer.
According to Kicker, United are looking out for the Leverkusen centre-back and have scouts watching him for weeks and is one of the top priority targets for United. Although the player has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, for United it will not be easy to sign him as Leverkusen are determined to make him stay put in the club.
Toprak made his debut in the Bundesliga outfit in 2011 and since then he has made 159 appearances for Leverkusen where he is one of the most important players in the squad.
According to reports, United are planning to bring in defensive reinforcements to the squad so as to strengthen the team’s defences before the 2016-2017 campaign takes off.
