After the black Cats signed Jozy Altidore in the summer, it was expected that he would take the Premier League by storm . Sadly he has turned to be nothing else but a damp squib. The American has hardly found the back of the net this campaign, a primary reason why Sunderland are really struggling in the relegation zone so far.
If we go by the Sunderland West Ham, the hosts missed a plethora of chances to bud the game beyond doubt and this is where you need your striker to take the initiative and lead your team. Despite dominating possession for much of the game, and creating the best openings, Sunderland couldn’t find the breakthrough, with Altidore missing the host of chances.
