A prospect better than Neymar, as labelled by various media, Gabriel Jesus has another suitor in the mix in the form of Manchester City.

The “Noisy neighbors” of Manchester City has entered the race to sign 19 year old Gabriel Jesus days after Manchester United has pulled out of the race. One World Sports has also reported that City has tabled a bid of £16.7 million to land the player. The amount matches the release clause in the player’s contract but unfortunately the amount mentioned is only applicable to five preferred clubs of the player. Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid could trigger the clause with £16.7 million.

Other clubs would need to trigger the clause with higher amount in the range of £27.3 million. We are yet to see how the teenager’s club and the agents will react to Manchester City bid. There also has been bid from Barcelona and Juventus for £13 million and £14.3 million.
