If reports from the Daily Star are to be believed, Arsenal are expected to have yet another restricted summer transfer window. Last season Arsenal were the only club in the top flight to not sign an outfield player. The club is believed to have identified £55 million as their budget for the upcoming transfer window. With a lot of positions needing replacements, the mentioned budget will probably not suffice to make the replacements and they will need to definitely sell a number of their fringe players to fund the deals for their targets. Several news agencies have reported that the club has already agreed a deal for midfield powerhouse Granit Xhaka for £30 million. While that might eat up a major proportion of their budget, it does add a lot of muscle to the side’s midfield.
