Major Blow For Liverpool As The Prime Target Commits Himself To His Current Club

It has been a long time since Mario Gotze has been linked with a possible summer move to Anfield, but their celebration has been cut short as the World Cup winner has committed himself to his current club Bayern Munich according to Sky Sports.

Gotze joined Bayern Munich in 2013, and has been struggling to fit in Pep Guardiola’s plans since then. But as the German Champions announced a new manager, Mario Gotze believes that he can now start a fresh life with the club and is ready to fight for the place in Ancelloti’s plans.

Speaking to BILD, he said:

“I look forward to the new season in Munich and will do everything possible to be in top shape for my first training session under Carlo Ancelotti.”

The 23 year old German has a year left in his contract, but it seems like, he is going to extend his stay under Carlo Ancelotti.
