Luka Modric transfer saga is back! Things gone horribly wrong for Luka Modric ever since he joined Real madrid from Tottenham. Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric admits he has found life at the Bernabeu “challenging” after being voted the worst La Liga signing of the season by the fans.
He said,
“I’m not making excuses, I am not that kind of person, but it is very challenging to adapt to life at a big club like Madrid.”
Manchester United (long term admirers of Luka Modric) are ready to save his career and will make a formal bid soon to bring Modric back to Premiership. Sir Alex Ferguson has kept an eye on the midfielder since 2010 and looked to sign him in the summer of 2011 but Spurs once again refused. With United’s lack of depth in their midfield, it could mean that Fergie is willing to splash out the cash for the Croatian.
Other clubs interested are Chelsea and Manchester city.
