Olympique Lyon’s president Jean-Michel Aulas has sent a shock warning to Arsenal that their rising Nabil Fekir is not for sale as he has potential to become a world class player in future.
Aulas spoke in his recent interview,
“He will remain with us.
“He can become a very good footballer in the next two to three years. Though the comparison is not right, Fekir is our own Messi.”
The attacking midfielder has been in form of his life this season as he has scored six times and assisted four goals in just 14 appearances. Fekir is Lyon’s second highest goalscorer behind Alexandre Lacazette.
Reportedly, Arsenal are closely monitoring the 21-year old player. Arsene Wenger is known to go out and buy young players, and groom them into world class stars. The signings of Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, and Robin van Persie underlines that fact. Next in line is Nabil Fekir? Only time will tell the answer for this question.
