Luhukay to make 3 changes – Predicted 3-4-1-2 Sheffield Wednesday XI To Face Fulham In The EFL Championship

Predicted Sheffield Wednesday Line-up To Face Fulham In The EFL Championship

Sheffield Wednesday are on a mini-winning streak, beating Sunderland on Monday afternoon to make it three wins in a row. They will be hoping to continue this run but they now face a tough opposition in the form of Fulham, who are riding high at 3rd place in the table.

Wednesday was top quality against Sunderland and it was a comprehensive victory that boosted them up the table and got rid of any relegation fears.

Probable Sheffield Wednesday XI

Manager: Jos Luhukay

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Joe Wildsmith (GK)

The young English keeper has had a great season for the Owls, breaking into the first-team and becoming an essential part of the squad.

Daniel Pudil (CB)

A solid centre-back who has played well for Sheffield Wednesday this season. Will hopefully slot back into the back-three against Fulham.

Tom Lees (CB)

Lees had an absolutely quality game against Sunderland on Monday night, looking good in the middle of the back-three and also bagging himself an important goal which changed the game.

Tom Lees

Frederico Venancio (CB)

The Portuguese centre-back has been on loan from Vitoria Setubal since January and has played very well in the team so far.

Morgan Fox (LWB)

Was taken off early against Sunderland, but doesn’t seem to have picked up an injury. An important player for the Owls and has been solid at the back all season.

Jack Hunt (RWB)

Had a good game against Sunderland, with some dangerous dribbles down the right-hand side. Will be looking for more of the same this game.

Barry Bannan (CM)

Bannan did not have the best of games against Sunderland but he has proven himself to be a quality central midfielder this season.

Sam Hutchinson (CM)

The 28-year-old did not start against Sunderland but has played well in the middle this season. He offers a good defensive option and breaks up the play in the middle.

Adam Reach

Adam Reach (AMC)

Reach had a really good game against Sunderland and was a constant thorn to the Black Cats. He also broke up the play well and put in some good tackles.

Atdhe Nuhiu (ST)

Nuhiu has got 5 goals in his last 3 games and is one of the most in-form strikers in the division. He also got an assist against Sunderland and will be a worrying prospect for the Fulham defenders to face.

Lucas Joao (ST)

Joao also grabbed a goal against Sunderland and will be looking to score against Fulham as well.
