LUFC highlights: Ryan Edmondson in the limelight as he shines for Leeds reserves

Leeds United highlights: Leeds United prospect Ryan Edmondson was, once again, the stand out performer in an U-23 game against Ipswich.

The English teenager is having a terrific season for the reserves, as he performing consistently at his best, week in and week out.

Last night was another example of this, as the forward scored a goal in the Whites’ 3-0 win against Ipswich.

Eventually, he was rated 7 out of 10 (h/t Leeds Live), the highest rating for a Leeds player on the pitch.

Berardi and Clarke Odour were the others on the score sheet.

Earlier this month, the former York City youth product helped LUFC thrash Burnley in the quarter-finals.

Following the win, many LUFC fans expressed their desire to see Edmondson in the first team, before the end of the season

He has scored a whopping 18 goals this season.

The 17-year-old is bound to the club until the end of 2021.

Meanwhile, Marcelo Bielsa was in the stands, who certainly would have taken note of Edmondson and the other players.

The Whites senior-team were at the end of a shocking defeat to Birmingham, last week. As a result, they have slipped down to third in the Championship table.

They will be facing Preston in the midweek Championship fixture.
