Jose Mourinho is close to completing the deal with Manchester United for the managerial position, as Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes and Ed Woodward set to negotiate further on Wednesday.
Louis Van Gaal’s reign at United was put to end on Monday and since Tuesday, Jorge Mendes and Ed Woodward have been having talks regarding Mourinho’s move to United, the talks of which are yet to be completed.
While the talks for the Portuguese boss to take over the managerial position at United is undergoing, Mourinho’s move to United is not wholly welcomed by United fraternity, with club legend Eric Cantona stating that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would have been the better choice for United’s football.
Further as of now, Ryan Giggs’ future at the Old Trafford has attracted a lot of interest, as the earlier news reported that Giggs’ intends to leave United if Mourinho is appointed as the new manager. While he does have an option of staying at United next season many believe that Giggs will look to move out of the club next season.
