Liverpool Transfer Update: Klopp Wants To Add More Midfielders Despite Long List Of Already Available Stars

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking out for Piotr Zelinski as a potential midfield option next season. The player currently plays for Empoli and has a decent record so far.

Although one cannot ignore the fact that Liverpool’s midfield already has too many players the likes of Can, Henderson, Allen, Lucas and Milner who can play in the midfield either ways. Further the Reds also signed Marko Gurijic in the winter transfer window, who is currently playing at Red Star Belgrade and will be heading back to the Anfield at the end of this season.

Gurijic can play as a central midfielder as well as an attacking midfielder, and has 5 goals and 7 assists in 26 games for the Serbian club. Thus, at such a point it seems to be a good advice to the German manager to rethink the positions he needs to fill in the summer and if he does add anyone to the squad, he will need to check whether their quality is enough to boost the squad.
